Party!!

For the past couple years we have been getting together with friends from high school over Christmas. Since many friends have moved out of state this seems to be the time when we all come home. This year we were able to have the party at our home.

Our fun game of 3 stage Charades. Josh acting out something. Christopher Columbus was it??

Shawn proposing to Erin...again acting out something. I totally missed Shawn and Clint doing the Elvis move. We had tons of fun and lots of laughs!

There were friends that left early and we didn't get their picture.
We sure had a fun time. We will see all of you again next year...same time same place.

For New Years Daron and I were able to play with our families again. We first went to Daron's family to play a mad game of Bingo. We even had prizes!!

Daron's brother and wife. Hard core bingo players!

Daron and Libbie in the background. And little Bronco up close.

Then off to the Kaysville City party. They had free food, dancing, bingo (again), and music.

My cute parents.

My great friend Erin Roundy and I singing Dancing Queen. Also singing were my sisters and mom. We were amazing!!

Then to the parents house we drove. We finished the night with competitions on Mario Kart and banging pans at midnight. Happy New Year to all!!

Christmas and Much More

Since this is my official last day off until school starts again I figured I should blog otherwise it probably won't happen again until my next days off. So here goes.
Daron and I had a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve we went over to Daron's brothers house for a party. We ate tons of good food, walked around the Ogden Village and exchanged gifts. When we got home Daron and I read Luke 2 and other scriptures about the birth of Christ. Then off to bed. We awoke to find some fun gifts under the tree. We did a lot of shopping together and online (Since I slept through black friday...darn alarm clock)
We were able to get a Kitchen-aid mixer and a digital camera. Now you will be able to see more pictures. Wahoo!!

This is our messy living room after we opened our presents. Oh Daron was able to get a steal of a deal on his golf clubs. Thank you Bukoos!!

My cute nephew Jaden at our Christmas party.

My parents gave Jamie (and the rest of the fam) Rockband. Good times!
On Christmas our power went out at our house. It's true...thank goodness we had already made our gourmet breakfast. So we went over to my parents a little earlier to get ready before our Christmas party. Then my sisters and their hubbies came over and my wonderful Aunt Cindy and cousin Melissa. We again ate wonderful food and exchanged presents. What a good Christmas! Oh and our power was back on when we got home. They replaced the green box thing out front. We should be good for another 20 years or so:)
